Frank Strong is a proven
leader who has headed diverse business operations
ranging from a startup portfolio to a multi-billion
dollar worldwide organization. He has a
track record of creating shareholder value
through business acumen, hands?on management
and executive accountability.
During more than 30 years
at Kodak, Frank held a number of general
management assignments in a variety of business
sectors, including consumer products, business
imaging, electronic imaging, printing and
publishing, and health. His broad international
experience included a posting to Australia,
where, after 12 months as chairman and CEO
of Kodak Australia, he returned a full functioning
subsidiary to industry?leading profitability
and market leadership.
As group vice president
and general manager of the Kodak Commercial
Imaging Group, a worldwide operation with
26,000 employees, Frank had profit and loss
accountability as well as responsibility
for research and development, manufacturing,
marketing and customer service of businesses
that generated over $4 billion in annual
sales.
After Kodak, Frank had
management accountability for new ventures
and smaller businesses, including a portfolio
of 12 startups. He also served as president
of Keuka College in Western New York.
Strong received
an A.B. in engineering sciences and an M.S.
in engineering and business administration
from Dartmouth College. He has chaired the
boards of Keuka College and the Visiting
Nurse Services of Rochester and Monroe County
and is a member of the board of directors
of Connected Energy Corp.; CL!X (formerly
DigiQuick Portrait Studios, Inc.); and Scene
Genesis, Inc. He founded Dartmouth's Corporate
Advisory Board for Engineering, is an area
vice president for the Boy Scouts of America
(BSA), and a trustee of the Otetiana Council
Endowment Fund (BSA).
